I've encountered an unusual problem with several Samsung Galaxy Book laptops at my workplace. After a recent Windows security update (KB5079473), these laptops started displaying a message saying "C: drive not accessible. Access denied." It seems this might be linked to the Galaxy Book Experience app since some drivers, including the trackpad, have also stopped functioning. I've noticed this issue is only affecting Galaxy Books. I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and if there are any solutions that don't involve a clean installation, especially given that these laptops are part of an Active Directory domain and I can't modify NTFS permissions on the C drive, even with administrator rights.

It sounds like the Galaxy Connect app might be causing the issue rather than the Windows security patch itself. You might want to communicate this to your team to prevent confusion. Let me know if you need more details about this or any templates for your communications.
We faced this issue too on two Samsung laptops at my workplace. I managed to log in as an admin, take ownership of the C drive, and restore the default permissions manually using another laptop for reference. It worked!
You're not alone! My friend and I are in the same boat with our Galaxy Book 4s. I’ve tried everything, and I still can’t access the C: drive or run any apps with admin privileges. It's incredibly frustrating!
Make sure you're logged in with the Administrator account. Go to the C drive, access the properties, check the Security tab, and see if 'Authenticated Users' and 'Administrators' are listed. If they aren't, you'll need to add them and grant full control.

Have you tried rolling back the recent updates? I managed to enter my admin credentials, but nothing changed after that.
