I found a GPU on eBay - an XFX Speedster SWFT 210 AMD Radeon RX 6600, and the seller sent me some pictures showing a few tiny blemishes. I'm curious if these are significant damages or if they're just cosmetic and not something to stress about. I've previously bought a Skytech PC 6 years ago, but my old GPU burned out, so I'm looking to upgrade a bit from my previous Zotac Gaming GPU.

From what I can see, the GPU looks okay despite some minor surface wear and dust. Just make sure the components are all intact - you don't want anything like a bent PCB or broken fans. You'll also want to clean it up; it’ll help with performance!
Honestly, the little blemishes and dust you’re seeing aren’t a big deal. Just give it a good clean when it arrives. Tiny dings and screw marks don’t really impact the performance, so you should be fine as long as it’s working correctly. Just make sure to keep the dust situation under control!
Honestly, that card looks pretty scratched up. I’d be cautious about it—it might not be in the best shape altogether.
It looks like there’s some dust on the GPU, so you'll definitely need to clean it up. Dust generally isn’t a red flag as far as used cards go; it’s kind of expected. Just make sure to check for any real damage like broken parts or fan issues. eBay allows returns, so if the card turns out to be damaged when it arrives, you can always send it back. The seller would have to mess up pretty badly to ship a broken card though.
That's good to know! I've never really taken apart my PC before. Any tips on how to do that properly? What do you mean by repaste?
Thanks for clarifying! I think I mixed up my images. The dust is actually from my old PC, not the GPU I'm buying!
