I'm relatively new to working as a city IT admin and I'm looking for some advice. I previously spent 20 years in K12sysadmin, and found it super beneficial to connect with others who use similar systems. Are there any subreddits or online communities specific to city sysadmins that I should be following? Thanks for any suggestions!

I worked as a County Sys Admin for nine years and it could be a chaotic experience due to some poor management and challenging users. I’ve since moved into the private sector and it's much smoother. Just a heads-up on the potential difficulties you might face!
I feel you there! I work for a municipality too, and despite decent funding, it’s tough to attract good talent since they often get recruited elsewhere.
