I'm curious if there are any motherboards out there that don't limit lane usage between SSDs and GPUs. I've heard that the Godlike model allows you to have your GPU running at x16 while also supporting two PCIe 5.0 SSDs each running at x4. Can SSDs even benefit from running faster than PCIe 5.0 x4? Are there other motherboards that offer similar features? Thanks in advance for any insights!

I’m wondering the same thing! It’s puzzling why they place the second best GPU slot at the bottom of the board, making it tough to fit a second GPU in there. The middle slot always seems like a waste, only getting one lane while the bottom gets four.
Typically, only the high-end motherboards offer this feature, allowing you to have multiple PCIe 5.0 SSD slots at the expense of some GPU performance. If you’re not planning to utilize those extra slots, you might want to stick with more budget-friendly options instead.
Yeah, I get that! I can't afford those pricey boards right now.
They probably don’t expect users to really utilize those slots. It seems like they prioritize having more M.2 slots instead.
