Are there PCIe expansions for front panel USB and SATA connections?

I'm using an Asus TUF B850M-E WiFi motherboard and I'm running into a problem with limited USB 3.0 and SATA connections. My case is the Omen X 900 and it has four HDD/SSD slots plus a disc drive, but my motherboard just doesn't have enough of those connections. The SATA isn't routed to the front I/O, and I'm wondering if there are any PCIe expansion options I can use to increase the number of USB or SATA ports. I've seen splitters mentioned, but I'm skeptical about using those because I don't want to risk damaging my setup. When I look for solutions online, I mainly find expansions for additional USB ports on the back but not for internal connections. Has anyone faced a similar issue?

You might want to look into PCIe USB expansion cards. They can give you additional USB 3.0 ports that you can use for front panel connections. As for SATA, check if there are any SATA expansion cards available; those can help you add more internal connections. Just make sure to check the compatibility with your motherboard and the available PCIe slots before buying!

Yeah, I've used a PCIe to SATA expansion card before. It worked really well for adding more drives; just ensure you get one that supports all your drive types.

Thanks for that tip! I’ll definitely look into those options and check compatibility.
