Hey everyone! My SATA SSD is on its last legs (only 28% health left), and I'm looking to upgrade. I've narrowed it down to three M.2 SSDs that seem to be the top contenders:
1. Samsung 980 PRO 500 GB
2. WD Black SN850X 500 GB
3. Crucial P5 Plus 500 GB
What do you think? Are these solid options, or do you have other recommendations?

28% health isn’t too alarming. Just make sure your motherboard has an M.2 slot for these SSDs. If it does, any of these would work just fine.
Would a 1TB drive work better for you? All these options are good, but if you don’t need that much space, Samsung is great, though I tend to go with Kingston myself.
All these are solid picks! Personally, I'd lean towards either the WD or Samsung for reliability and performance.
Definitely check your motherboard’s Qualified Vendor List (QVL) to see which NVMe drives they've tested. If you bought a pre-built system, the support site usually has that info. You'll need the model number of your SSD too.
At the same price point, I'd go for the SN850X. However, all three are impressive. Just check how that 28% health is calculated—is it actual flash lifespan or just a rough estimate from a program?

Good to know! I might check the specs to be sure.
