I've been using both Bluetooth earbuds and traditional barrel jack earphones, but I often find that the barrel jacks require some annoying adjustments to work properly. I'm curious if switching to USB-C earphones would solve this issue and generally be more reliable, especially since I would use them on my PC and potentially on my phone while my Bluetooth ones are charging.

By design, jacks are generally more robust. It really comes down to the plug quality though. USB-C is convenient since the springs are in the plug; when they wear out, you can just swap out the cable. But still, it's worth considering the wear since so many devices use the same USB-C port.
Nope, I’d say audio jacks are generally stronger. The biggest issue is often the strain relief on the barrel connectors, which can break and cause tiny wires inside to snap. But it's pretty easy to fix those by splicing a new connector on a standard audio cable.
I wouldn’t necessarily say USB-C is more durable. A good audio jack can last a long time if well-made. The advantage of barrel jacks is that you can use them for audio while charging your phone at the same time, which you can’t do with USB-C. And since you’re not constantly manipulating the charging port, it can lead to longer life overall.
USB-C does have its benefits, but durability can be tricky. Since people often use it for charging and data transfer, the wear and tear might cancel out any durability advantages. I had to replace a charging board on my phone because the USB-C slot got spotty from overuse.
That makes sense! I’m looking at getting a JBL since good electronics are pricey here, and I can't use a barrel jack on my phone anyway.
