ASUS Laptop Taking 30-40 Seconds to Boot Up – Any Solutions?

Hey everyone! I've been experiencing a strange startup problem with my ASUS laptop. When I power it on, the screen stays completely black for about 30 to 40 seconds before it boots up normally. Once it gets past that initial delay, everything works fine—no crashes or hiccups at all. This issue started recently, and it didn't happen when I first got the laptop. If anyone's had a similar issue with ASUS laptops and managed to fix it, I would really appreciate your advice. Thanks a lot!

What processor do you have? I suspect it might be a Ryzen 7000 or 9000 series with DDR5 RAM. This could be due to something called EXPO training, where the system adjusts RAM timings during boot, which might explain the delay. It's generally safe, and that 30-40 seconds could just be the system ensuring everything is stable for you. However, if this happens every time, it might indicate a different underlying problem.

Actually, it's an Intel i5, and weirdly enough, this has never happened in the two years I've owned it. The black screen delay just started a couple of days ago.
