I'm looking to buy a 750W power supply for my setup with an RTX 3070 and a Ryzen 7 5800X, and I have an $800 budget. The PSU needs to be under 140mm in length since I'm planning to install it in a Lian Li A3 case. I'm hoping to find something that isn't a total bomb (reliable and safe) and ideally under $100. A modular or semi-modular design would be a big plus too! Any suggestions?

When it comes to PSUs, remember that spending a bit more can really boost longevity and performance. You might want to consider that. A little extra could go a long way!
Ah, the classic PSU hunt! With your budget, you've got plenty of good choices. While it’s wise to budget carefully, don’t overlook the long-term reliability of your PSU—after all, it powers your entire rig! Happy shopping!
Yeah, I love hearing about the lengths people go to for the perfect PSU!
I’ve been using the Toughpower GF1 750W from Thermaltake. It’s around $130, but it’s seriously been fantastic for everything from gaming to video editing—like 6-12 hours a day! It delivers on performance for its price and is definitely worth considering!
That sounds promising! I just saw it for $90 on Amazon—think I’ll grab it!
If you’re looking for an affordable option, check out the Montech Century II 850W for $90 right now. Just keep in mind it’s not widely available yet, but it’s a solid pick!
Haha, I don’t think it’s out yet, though!
True! But since I'm in Canada, $100 might stretch differently with our currency.
