I'm looking to buy a budget-friendly AM4 CPU that won't bottleneck my upcoming RTX 5060. I've been considering the Ryzen 5 3600, but I'm unsure if it will handle the graphics card well in CPU-bound scenarios. Any recommendations?

The Ryzen 5 5600 or 5600X are solid choices for the RTX 5060 as well. They handle high-performance tasks well and you won't have to worry about bottlenecking issues.
If you can find it affordably, consider the 5800X or even the 5800X3D for a more high-end option. Just make sure it fits within your budget, as those offer better cache and core performance for future-proofing.
If you're looking for something a bit better than the 3600, think about the Ryzen 5 5600. It's not much more expensive and offers way better performance in both single-threaded and multi-threaded tasks.
Honestly, I'd skip the 3600. If you're on a super tight budget, just go for the Ryzen 5 5500. It offers decent performance and can be found for under $100. It surprised me in my office build with an RX 6600 XT at 1440p.
I disagree! The 3600 actually has better specs, and if you're going cheap, it's either that or the 5500x3D if you want a slight upgrade.
A lot of people like the 5800XT over the 5600. However, at times, the price difference between them can be minimal, so it's worth checking out.

Just keep in mind that the 6600 XT might be the bottleneck in that setup, making CPU performance less important.
