I'm planning to upgrade from my i3-10105F but I'm sticking with my RTX 2060 6GB since it still works fine. I'd love to get a 5600X3D, but it looks like the 5700X at Scorptec is my best bet. I'll be picking up a new motherboard, RAM, case, and cooler too. Should I go with an AM4 or AM5 setup?

I wouldn't bother with AM5 if you're keeping the 2060. A 5700X build shouldn’t break the bank. But if you're going through all this trouble, why not grab a 3070 while you're at it?
What kind of memory do you have right now? If it’s decent, sticking with a DDR4 build might make more sense since you’re building a new PC.
I still need to get new memory since I'm building a completely new setup to hand down my current parts to my sister.
If it’s within your budget, go for AM5. However, both a 10700 on your current board or a 5700X are solid options if you’re sticking with DDR4.

Good point, thanks! But I'm not looking to upgrade the GPU right now. I want to make the GPU my bottleneck this time around lol.
