Hey everyone! I'm looking for some help because I really don't know much about graphics cards and their various pros and cons. I'm mainly looking to build a PC that can handle the latest AAA games at decent graphics settings and good frame rates, along with some strategy games and indie titles. I've come across a few budget-friendly options that are often recommended: RTX 4060, RTX 5060, RX 9060 XT, and Intel Arc B570. Can anyone break down which of these would be best for my needs and explain their advantages and disadvantages in simple terms? Thanks a lot!

This info is super useful! I often find it hard to get the basics on GPUs as they can be super technical. I'm also aiming for 1080p!
From what I’ve read, 12GB of VRAM is almost a must for graphics cards in the $300 range. That kind of rules out the 4060 and 5060, unfortunately. The 16GB RX 9060 XT is way better and faster than Intel's B570 and B580. Only choose Intel if it's significantly cheaper than the others.
Honestly, if you're just strictly gaming, I'd suggest going with AMD. They often provide the same performance for less cash, especially if you’re not looking at top-tier specs. Just consider what resolution and frame rates you’ll be playing at!
The RX 9060 XT is definitely the best value for your money right now. It'll let you run most games smoothly at 1080p and even at 1440p. It's really a solid choice for gaming without breaking the bank!
Awesome, thanks! I'm leaning towards that now.
What resolution are you planning to play at? If you're looking for the cheapest option, you might want to consider your needs first. For me, 1080p is perfectly fine.
I think 1080p would be good for me too!
Just go with the 16GB version to get the most out of it!
