Best CPU to Use with RTX 3070 Without Bottlenecking?

Hey everyone! I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600X along with an RX 6600 XT, but I've just ordered an RTX 3070. I'm thinking about upgrading my CPU to a Ryzen 7 5700X, but I've seen some bottleneck calculators that suggest this combo will lead to significant bottlenecking. If the Ryzen 7 5700X isn't the right choice, what CPU would you recommend to pair with the RTX 3070 for optimal performance? Thanks for any advice! 🙂

The Ryzen 7 5700X should work well with the RTX 3070, especially for gaming at 1440p. Don't get too hung up on the calculators since they usually overstate issues. Your current setup should handle most games quite well!

Your Ryzen 5600X is already a solid fit for the RTX 3070. I've used it without any performance issues. If you're really aiming for something different, just consider the 5700X3D for future-proofing, but it might not be necessary.

Forget all that bottleneck talk! It's mostly marketing hype to get you to upgrade. Your setup is great for 1080p and even 1440p. Just play and enjoy your games without worrying about what those calculators say.

Honestly, those bottleneck calculators are pretty unreliable. There's really no need to upgrade from your 5600X to the 5700X solely for gaming. Many users report that the 5600X performs just fine with the RTX 3070, so unless you're seeking a drastic performance boost for productivity, I’d stick with what you have for now.
