I found a great deal on an i7-8700 for just $70! It's a significant upgrade since you'll go from 4 cores and 4 threads to 6 cores and 12 threads, which should really help with that bottleneck.
12 threads? Wow, that sounds efficient! But with newer options out like the 9700k, I wonder how it holds up today compared to the 8700k.
