Best Debian-Based Distro for AMD GPU Support?

Hey everyone, I'm new to Linux and I'm considering switching to Debian again as my daily driver after my Ubuntu installation got messed up by a bad update. I'm having quite a bit of trouble getting my AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics card to work properly. I've been browsing through forums for quite a while, but I'm still stuck. I'm hoping to find a lightweight, stable Debian-based distribution that will work smoothly with my GPU. Ideally, I'd love to just install it and have everything up and running, or at least have an easy command like "sudo apt install all-my-friggin-drivers" to get things sorted out. Here are my specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, RAM: 64GB, and the Debian kernel I tried was 6.1. Any suggestions for a distro that plays nice with discrete GPUs, or some tips on resolving this Debian and GPU issue?

For what it's worth, AMD suggests using at least a 6.4 kernel for their GPUs nowadays, so the 6.1 you're using is pretty outdated. You should be good with any distro that runs on kernel 6.4 or higher. If you want something Debian-based, Linux Mint is a solid option, and its latest version has kernel 6.8. That should definitely work with your GPU!

Thanks! I'll give Linux Mint a try. Have you heard anything about SparkyLinux?
