Best Fan Setup for My Corsair 4000D Build?

Hey everyone! I'm setting up a new PC build using the Corsair 4000D case, which I believe is the successor to the Airflow 4000D model. It comes with three 120mm intake fans at the front, but no exhaust fans included. I'm wondering what you all would recommend for exhaust? Would a single 140mm fan be enough, or should I go for two 120mm or 140mm fans instead? I'll be using this setup for 1440p gaming, some light video editing, and maybe a bit of light CAD rendering as well. Also, is the Corsair iQue Link hub (or any similar hub) worth it, or should I just connect the fans directly to the motherboard headers?

Here are my build specs:
- Corsair Frame 4000D case
- R7 7800x3d CPU
- Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 CPU cooler
- Asrock x670e Pro RS motherboard
- Samsung 990 Evo Plus 2TB NVMe
- EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming (considering an upgrade when GPU prices drop)
- G.Skill Flare X5 32GB (2x16) CL36 RAM
- NZXT C850 80+ Gold PSU

Thanks for any advice you can share!

Honestly, fans are relatively inexpensive, so I'd recommend adding three 120mm fans to the top and one more to the rear for exhaust. Having good airflow is really important, especially since you're using an air-cooled CPU. If you’re looking for affordable options, Thermalright has a pack of three 120mm ARGB fans for around $13 on Amazon. Also, if you’re still in the market for a PSU, consider getting an ATX 3.1 PCIe 5.1 power supply instead. Oh, and I've heard some issues about ASRock motherboards frying AM5 CPUs, so maybe check that out as well.

Thanks for the tips! If I had known I’d want three top-mounted fans, I might have just gone for an AIO cooler instead! I already mounted the air cooler, so I’ll stick with it. I’ll definitely look into the ASRock issues—hadn't heard about that before. And yes, the CL36 RAM was a steal, so I’ll probably keep it unless it causes problems. I do have the PSU still in the box, so I can return it if needed.
