Hi everyone! I'm planning my first PC build with a budget of around £1000 (or less if possible). I'm looking for a solid GPU and CPU combo that can handle both work as a data scientist (I do a lot of programming, ML/NLP models, etc.) and gaming. I usually play indie games like Hades and Silk Song, but I occasionally dive into bigger titles like Ghost of Tsushima. I'm not overly concerned with graphics quality; I'm more focused on getting good FPS. I was considering the PowerColor Reaper Radeon RX 9060XT paired with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, but that seems a bit pricey. Any recommendations for a more affordable setup? I'm also planning to get 32GB of DDR4 RAM and want to build a micro ATX. Let me know if you need more info, and thanks for any help!

If you're into ML/NLP, I'd recommend going for an Nvidia GPU. Something like the 5060 Ti with 16GB would fit well within your budget and give you the performance you need for both work and gaming. What are you using right now for your tasks?

I'm currently on a MacBook Air M1 with 16GB RAM. For work, I also use a laptop with a 12th gen i7-1265U and an Nvidia T550 GPU, handling my ML/NLP stuff on both.
