Hey everyone, I'm looking for advice on which GPU to buy for my 1440p 240Hz monitor. My current setup includes a Ryzen 7 8700G, and I've been using the integrated graphics until now. I play a mix of games including Valorant, CS2, Hell Let Loose, Satisfactory, Stardew Valley, and some AAA titles. Here are the GPUs I'm considering, along with their prices during a current sale:
- RX 7600 [$320]
- RX 7700 XT [$450]
- RX 9060 XT 16GB [$500/$550]
- RX 9070 XT [$800/$875]
- A770 [$400]
- B570 [$270]
- B580 [$300/$325]
- RTX 4070Ti [$760]
- RTX 5050 [$325]
- RTX 5060 [$380]
- RTX 5070 [$760]
- RTX 4070Ti [$730]
Just to note, my PSU can handle 850W. I don't use any upscaling or frame generation, and I'd like to avoid overspending just to get the best GPU in this series. I've heard that NVIDIA's RTX 50xx Super series and Intel's Arc B770/B780 will be released this summer, so should I wait for those instead?

If you're not using frame generation, I'd say the 9070XT is the best choice, although it is pricey. The 5070 is a good alternative if you're looking to save some cash.
For modern AAA games, the RX 9070 XT is definitely the way to go.
Your performance will depend on how you configure your game settings. I run CS2 at 1440p with a 9060XT and hit around 300 FPS with some settings adjusted. In Hell Let Loose, deciding between high settings and max can impact which GPU you need.
My advice? Check out YouTube for benchmarks specific to the games you play. This will really help you figure out the best GPU without going overboard.
I recommend going for the RX 9070 XT or higher. The RTX 4070Ti is another solid option, but I think you'd get better value with the 5070 instead of the 4070 Ti, considering the price difference.
