I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and have a budget of around £300. Currently, I have a Ryzen 5 5600 paired with a GTX 1650. I've heard that the RTX 3060 12GB has mixed reviews, with some people praising it and others saying it's not worth the cost. What do you all think? Any recommendations on what I should go for instead?

If you're open to spending just a little bit more, there's a great deal on the 9060 XT for £314. It might be worth checking out this link for more details.
I've seen refurbished 3070 Ti cards for around $290, which isn't bad at all! Just look around for the equivalent price in GBP. It's a great card for the Ryzen 5 5600, but I personally wouldn't choose an 8GB card right now, especially since there's a lot of new games coming out that could demand more VRAM.
Honestly, I wouldn't spend money on the RTX 3060 12GB right now as it's pretty overpriced. You could find a used RTX 3080 for around £300, which would outperform the 3060 significantly, or stick with the newer RX 9060 XT, which is also a smart buy!
If you can stretch your budget a bit, consider grabbing the 9060 XT with 16GB! It's a solid performer for the price and will definitely give you a nice boost in gaming.

But keep in mind, the 9060 XT is newer and offers better features for efficiency and driver support, so it might be the smarter option in the long run.
