I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from an NVIDIA 1650 and need some recommendations for a great card under $400 CAD. I've been overwhelmed with all the discussions about GPU performance, and I just want to get something that will actually perform well. For context, I'm running an Intel i5-9400. Any advice would be appreciated!

If you're looking for a solid upgrade, I recommend the 16GB Radeon RX 9060 XT. It's definitely the best option in your budget. Just make sure you're getting the 16GB version!

Totally agree! The 9060 XT is a fantastic choice.

I have the same CPU; you'll be just fine with the 9060 XT!

I also suggest checking out the Sapphire or PowerColor versions of the 9060 XT. They both offer good performance and fall just under your budget! Here's a [link to PCPartPicker](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/r3YdWc) for some options.

Have you thought about looking at your local Facebook Marketplace? I've seen some great deals on a 3080 for around $250 USD recently, which would give you way more power than anything in the $400 CAD range.

That’s a great tip! I’ll check it out.

Honestly, the 16GB 9060 XT is the way to go. It’s future-proof because of its VRAM, and it performs really well. I've built a couple of systems for friends using this GPU, and they've had no issues at all!

What do you plan on using the new GPU for? That could help narrow down the recommendations if you're looking at specific games.

I'm mainly into playing demanding games like Cyberpunk.
