I'm putting together a new PC and have decided on a Ryzen 5 7500 processor, a B850M motherboard, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM at 5200Hz. The one big decision I'm stuck on is which GPU to choose since I'm looking to stay within a $450 budget. I'm not keen on purchasing used GPUs, but here are my local options: RTX 5060 8GB, RTX 5050 8GB, B580, RX 9060 XT 8GB, RTX 3070 (factory refurbished with a 3-month warranty), RTX 3060 12GB, and RX 7600 XT 16GB. I want to play games like ARC Raiders, Escape from Tarkov, Apex Legends, Marvel Rivals, PUBG, Ready or Not, BF6, Cyberpunk 2077, and Forza Horizon 5 at Full HD. Which GPU should I go for and why?

You're choosing a pretty tricky time to build a PC, honestly. But despite that, the RX 9060 XT also stands out as the strongest performer without heavy ray tracing features impacting your gameplay.

Yeah, I don't foresee needing ray tracing for FHD games, so that sounds good!

I’d recommend the RX 9060 XT 16GB. It generally offers the best performance on your list, especially for future-proofing your build. If you can squeeze your budget a little more, it’ll be worth it in the long run for high-demand games.

But doesn’t that version cost a bit more than the others? If it's over budget, maybe not the best option.

If raw performance is your top priority, the RX 9060 XT is definitely the way to go. Just understand that it might not handle heavy ray tracing as well as the 5060, but that shouldn’t be a huge issue for you.

Just go for the RX 9060 XT. It’s simple, great performance for the price, and should handle your game list without a hitch. Other options like the RTX 5060 may not offer the same bang for your buck.

Can you elaborate on why the 9060 is better for those games?
