Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my CPU from an R5 1600 to an R5 5600, and now I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from a GTX 1060 6GB. I game on a 240Hz monitor and want to play CS2 competitively at 4:3 1280x960, aiming for around 200 to 240 FPS. I also want to enjoy AAA games at ultra settings at 1080p, ideally with stable frame rates above 60 FPS, and preferably reaching between 80 to 120 FPS if budget allows. My budget is around $400 to $500 USD, but prices can be higher where I live. The GPUs available to me include the RX 7600, RX 9060 XT (both 8GB and 16GB), RTX 4060 Ti, and RTX 5060 (8GB and Ti 16GB). I'm open to any suggestions that provide good performance for the price. Thanks for your help!

Go for the 9060 XT 16GB. With modern games, 8GB just won’t cut it anymore, especially if you can get the 16GB for a good price.

Thanks! I believe I found a 16GB RX 9060 XT on sale from Asrock or XFX. Appreciate the help!

I think the RX 9060 XT would be your best options for 1080p gaming. It should give you solid performance across the board!

Hi! Thanks for the advice. Should I opt for the 8GB or the 16GB version? Is the performance difference significant?

The 9060 XT 16GB is a solid choice. But since CS2 is your main game, consider upgrading your CPU to an X3D for better performance, especially in intense moments.

Thanks! I appreciate the input. The 16GB RX 9060 XT seems popular. As for the CPU, it's hard to find X3D models locally without breaking the bank, but I'll keep an eye out.

Definitely look into the RX 9060 XT 16GB. It generally outperforms the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB in many scenarios, especially for games requiring more memory.

Hey, thanks for the tip! The RTX 5060 Ti is a bit cheaper here, but not by much. Is the performance gap between the two noticeable?
