Hey everyone! I'm new here and I'm looking to upgrade my GPU since I've been dealing with some pretty severe frame drops in HD2, going from 80fps down to 30fps. I'm considering the 7700XT, but with all the new cards out now, I'm not sure if it's the best option. I want to spend up to $600 for a card that will last a few years. Here are my current specs: Ryzen 9 5950, 64GB RAM, RX5500 XT (8GB), Asrock B550M, and a 500GB NVME along with a 4.24TB external SSD.

Check out the RX 9070 or RTX 5070; you might find them under $600. Here’s a link to help you search: [PCPartPicker](https://pcpartpicker.com/products/video-card/#X=43360,60691&P=10737418240,51539607552&T=10,13,15&c=590,589,560,547,591,592).
Since the 9060 XT is out now, I'd suggest skipping the 7700 XT. You should either look at the 9060 XT 16GB or the 5060 Ti 16GB—avoid the 8GB versions if you can.
Totally get it; if you go for the 9060 XT and plan on upgrading your case later for more space, that could be a solid move. But you should definitely consider if you want to go straight for the 9070 instead.
The RX 9070 is significantly more powerful compared to both the 7700 XT and the 9060 XT; it's a solid choice!

Just a heads up, my current GPU is about 280mm in length, and it barely fits next to my AIO radiator in the case.
