I'm on the hunt for a reliable handheld 2D barcode scanner that can easily read very small DataMatrix codes (specifically 5mm x 5mm). It's important that the scanner is also Bluetooth-enabled. I previously tried the Netum C750, which is decent, but it fails to detect those tiny codes. I'm looking for any recommendations based on your experiences.

Are the barcodes you're trying to scan printed yourself or are they pre-printed? For tiny codes, we usually use Keyence scanners because they handle small sizes well.
I can’t confirm the exact size capacity, but you might want to check out the Tera Pro 8100. It's designed for DPM (Direct Part Marking) just like the Keyence you mentioned, plus you can return it if it doesn’t meet your needs. The specs say it can read DataMatrix codes and has Bluetooth, so it could be a good fit. I used their cheaper version before for a project and had no issues.

Awesome, thank you!
