I'm super curious about using Linux and want to dive into something new! I have basic knowledge of what Linux is, but I'm torn between choosing a distro. I'm considering Mint, Ubuntu, and Ultramarine for my laptop specs: it has an Intel Celeron N4000 and 8GB of RAM. I know it's not the best for gaming, but I enjoy the challenge. Which one would be the best fit for me?

Between Ubuntu and Ultramarine, I’d lean toward Ultramarine. It has modern display managers and is basically Fedora with a fresh twist. That said, don't expect gaming miracles with that Intel Celeron chip; it's a budget processor that might struggle with performance.

Yeah, I tried using Gnome on an N4000, and it was painfully slow. You could be waiting ages for things to load—definitely not designed for gaming! You might want to look for lightweight options instead.
