Hey everyone! I currently have a 64-bit Windows system, but I'm looking to switch to a user-friendly Linux distro. My computer only has 4 GB of RAM, so I need something that won't be too resource-intensive. What would you recommend?

Have a look at the distro selection page on the Linux 4 Noobs wiki. It's super handy! You can also check out some searches related to lightweight distros in the forum for more advice. Just remember to back up your data and test things out in a virtual machine first—understand every command before hitting Enter!
If you're looking for a lightweight Linux experience, I'd recommend trying out Linux Mint with the XFCE desktop, Xubuntu, or Ubuntu MATE. They should work pretty well with 4 GB of RAM, but keep in mind you won't get amazing performance. If you're comfortable investing a bit, adding another stick of RAM would greatly improve your experience!
Lubuntu could be another good option, especially older versions. Just keep in mind that modern browsers can gobble up memory quickly, so it really comes down to what you plan to do with your system.
