Hey everyone, I'm looking for suggestions on which Linux distribution would work well on my low-spec PC. It has an AMD A4 processor from the seventh generation and 4 GB of RAM. Running Windows on it is pretty much impossible. Any recommendations?

If you're looking for something really lightweight, check out Void Linux with XFCE. It's faster and demands less from your hardware.

I'd say most modern distros should work fine. Personally, I recommend Linux Mint because it's user-friendly, but you could also consider lighter desktop environments like KDE, Cinnamon, XFCE, or MATE. Just keep in mind that the web browser will probably use the most RAM anyway!

Xubuntu or Linux Mint with XFCE are great choices for lower resource systems. They both offer a good balance of usability and performance.

Have you tried Puppy Linux? It's super light and designed for older hardware. Worth a shot!
