Best Linux Distros for Nvidia GPUs?

I've been trying to get Ubuntu to work on my Nvidia 4060 GPU, but I keep running into an issue where some of my monitors go black right after booting up. It's super frustrating! Is there a specific Linux distribution that works well with Nvidia hardware out of the box? I was thinking about trying Linux Mint, but I'm starting to feel pretty discouraged. If anyone has suggestions or knows of a fix, please let me know!

Hey! It might help if you share your computer specs and what driver you're trying to use. I think some Nvidia official drivers dropped support for older GPUs, so if you're using an earlier model, you might need to go for an older version of the driver. Just a thought!

I've been using CachyOS with a 5070ti and it works great! I'm new to Linux too, but I've had a really good experience with it. No issues so far!

That's awesome to hear! I have a GTX 1660 ti, and CachyOS has also worked perfectly for me. Everything was set up right out of the box!
