I'm looking for a mobile Linux distribution that I can install on my old Galaxy Tab E (Samsung SM-T560). It currently runs an outdated version of Android and is almost useless. Does anyone know if there are viable options to bring it back to life?

I've also heard of Lineage OS and Ubuntu Touch, but both don't officially support the Tab E. You might get some features, but it could be hit or miss.
PostmarketOS seems to be the leading option for your device, but there are no guarantees it will work perfectly. Make sure to read up on its wiki page for the Galaxy Tab E before diving in!
You might want to check out postmarketOS. It has partial support for the Galaxy Tab E, but be aware that many features are iffy, and updates on its compatibility don’t come around often.
Thanks! I’ll look into it.
