I'm looking to run, develop, and train AI on my new MSI Vector 17 HX AI model laptop, which has the same hardware as its rebranded variant. My goal is to maximize the hardware's potential using Linux right from the start. However, I want to ensure I have a graphical interface and don't want to deal with constant crashes, errors, or the hassle of reinstalling the OS repeatedly.
Previously, I've tried Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, which led to many issues, and while I briefly used Pop!_OS, it felt too restrictive, pushing me to Debian 13 (Trixie) with the XFCE environment, where I found a solid balance of performance, comfort, and control without crashes. Now, for this new laptop, I'm seeking recommendations for an operating system that supports bleeding-edge technologies while ensuring stability and a comfortable setup. Any suggestions?

You might want to check out Arch Linux. It allows you to configure it as stable or bleeding-edge as you wish, depending on how you set things up. Just keep in mind that it requires a bit of effort to set up, but once you do, it can be really stable if you manage the updates carefully. It's not for everyone, but if you want control, it’s worth considering!
