I'm on the hunt for the perfect hardware to set up a small meeting room that lets users easily switch between Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings. Currently, we use a Poly G7500 system in our main conference room, which is primarily focused on Teams. However, for our smaller private offices that need both Teams and Zoom support, the Poly setup requires a complete reboot and manual selection of the operating system by IT, which isn't ideal. I've also looked into the Yealink MeetingBar A10, but switching from Teams to Zoom necessitates a factory reset, which is a hassle. A standard computer or NUC isn't a good fit either, as they come with update schedules and various security restrictions due to company policies. Is there a purpose-built solution that would work better for this scenario?

We’ve used Yealink with Teams Rooms, and it worked really well for us! It even displays the room’s calendar right on the screen, making it convenient to organize meetings.
I haven’t come across anything that allows the room to switch seamlessly between systems without issues. It might make scheduling a bit messy since you'd have to juggle different calendar accounts. However, our Teams Room does let you join Zoom (and even WebEx, though who uses that? 😂) as 'third-party meetings' either through invites or codes. It’s not perfect, but with a bit of practice, it works out!
The Logitech Rally Bar is another solid option. If you enable third-party access in the Teams console, it can handle Teams, Zoom, and Webex meetings quite well!
If you configure Logitech hardware running Teams Room, it can also accept and join Zoom meetings. It’s a flexible setup!
I suggest using a PC instead. You can connect all your devices—like displays, webcams, mics, and speakers—as peripherals. Just log into the PC and fire up whichever meeting app you need. This way, you can use any meeting platform, not just Teams or Zoom.
Have you checked out Conferfly? They might have something that fits your needs!
The Logitech Rally kits might work for you. They support both Teams and Zoom, but keep in mind, they tend to favor one over the other. For instance, if you use the Teams version, it’s all set up with Exchange calendars and makes joining Teams meetings easy. But joining Zoom involves entering the meeting ID, so it's not quite as straightforward as a one-click solution.
