I'm gearing up to build my new PC and I'm on the hunt for good monitors suitable for both gaming and video watching. My budget is around $150. Also, I'd love some recommendations for budget-friendly keyboards and mice. Any ideas?

If you're looking for a good balance, consider a 1440p monitor with a refresh rate of around 165Hz. That’s a sweet spot for gaming and general use. But remember, if you're on a tighter budget, even a good IPS monitor at a lower refresh rate can serve you well.

Absolutely! IPS panels generally provide better color and viewing angles, which is great for both gaming and movies. Personally, I’d suggest looking for a 27" display at 1440p if your budget allows. You might sacrifice refresh rate for quality, but it’s usually worth it.
