Best Monitors Under $750 for Gaming and Movies?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to spend my $750 reimbursement on a monitor mainly for gaming and watching movies. I want a 2K monitor with a refresh rate higher than 144 Hz. I've heard that OLED panels provide a really vibrant experience, so I'm curious about that as well. My desk space is 48 inches wide and 28 inches deep, so I need something that fits. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Would you be using the monitor mainly for work or something else? It helps to know if you’re looking for something dual-purpose or purely for gaming.

A bit of both, but primarily gaming since I’m a software engineer.

If you're into ultrawide, I highly recommend the Alienware AW3423DWF. I got mine for $550 on Prime Day, but it’s typically around $1100 now. It’s gorgeous for gaming! Just keep in mind, it’s quite big, so make sure it'll fit on your desk.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll have to measure my space since my desk is pretty small.

Consider getting two of the same monitor. This way, you can make sure the colors match perfectly for a more immersive experience!

If you don’t want an ultrawide, check out the ASUS ROG Strix 27" OLED QHD 240Hz. Great for gaming! Or if you’re still interested in ultrawide, the Alienware AW3423DWF is a solid pick too, it’s curved and has slick specs.
