I'm looking to pick a motherboard for my Ryzen 7 9700x and shopping at my local Microcenter. I know I should stick to well-known brands like ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte, but ASUS is a bit pricey. That leaves me with MSI and Gigabyte. I'm a bit lost when it comes to the specifics of motherboards and what the main differences are between these two brands. I've seen mixed reviews for both on the Microcenter site. I've heard that MSI has better BIOS design while Gigabyte tends to offer better value, but I'm not sure what to choose.

Definitely skip ASRock since they’ve had quite a few issues. I'd suggest the Gigabyte B850M DS3H for a budget-friendly option; it's solid and keeps costs down.
I've used products from all three brands and never encountered issues. So I'd suggest looking for whichever motherboard has the best chipset for your budget.

Noted, thank you for the recommendation!
