Hey everyone! I recently got a 3080 Founders Edition as a gift, and I'm looking to build a PC while keeping the costs under $500. I'm hoping to go with an AMD CPU for this build. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If you’re open to Intel, I’d recommend a 12700k setup. It’s pretty affordable right now and performs really well. Just my two cents!
I found a build on PCPartPicker that would work great for around $600 (not including the case). With a GPU like the 3080, trying to stick to $500 will mean some compromises. For $600 plus the case, you'd be future-proofed with the AM5 socket and have room for upgrades later. Check it out!
I was thinking about the 7700x instead of the 9600x you suggested. Thanks for the advice!
Yeah, I agree. Looks like I might need to stretch my budget to at least $600.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm really set on an AMD build.
