I'm building my first system with the Ryzen 9 9950x3d and purchased Corsair 2x16GB RGB RAM rated at 7000MHz CL34, but it hasn't arrived yet. My motherboard is an MSI PRO X870E-P WiFi, which can handle RAM overclocking up to 8200MHz. I'm wondering if I might face performance issues with this RAM. Would it be wiser to switch to the Kingston Fury Beast Expo, RGB, 32GB (2x16GB), 6000MT/s CL30 RAM instead?

The RAM you ordered should work okay, but keep in mind that the Ryzen 9 9950x3d officially supports up to 5600MHz, although many users can overclock it to 6000MHz fairly easily with the right settings. Pushing your RAM to 7000MHz might not give you the best performance because you could face some limitations with the memory controller. If you want a hassle-free experience, going with 6000MHz sticks like the Kingston Fury could simplify things and still provide excellent performance. Just a heads up though, if you operate at the higher speeds, you might need to tweak some settings manually since the defaults can drop quite low to around 4800MHz. Switching to the 6000MHz option may be the best route for stability and ease of use.

I didn't realize the memory controller was such a factor! I'm fairly new to overclocking, so I appreciate the advice on using a RAM with automatic profiles. I’m leaning towards the Fury Beast Expo, RGB, 32GB (2x16GB) at 6000MT/s CL30 now.
