Best Tools for Customizing Your Linux Desktop?

I'm using openSUSE Tumbleweed with KDE Plasma, and one of the main reasons I switched to Linux was to fully customize my desktop environment. I'm interested in creating something unique (is this what people call 'ricing'?). I tried using AwesomeWM, but it didn't go too well. Are there any easier tools or resources that can help me with customization?

I hear you! For customization, have you checked out tools like `Plank` for a dock or `Conky` for system monitoring widgets? They can really elevate your desktop look. Also, using themes available on websites like `pling.com` or `GNOME-look` can help you achieve that unique vibe you're after!

Hey! Customizing your desktop can be super fun. While AwesomeWM is powerful, it can be a bit tricky for beginners. I recommend looking into more user-friendly environments like GNOME or Cinnamon if you want something easier to work with. Both offer great customization features without the steep learning curve.
