I'm looking to improve my gaming setup since I'm currently experiencing lag and can only play on very low settings. My current configuration includes a 750W power supply, a Ryzen 5 3600X processor, an RX 5500XT 8GB graphics card, a B450 Carbon Pro motherboard, and 16GB of DDR4 Kingston RAM (2x8GB). With a budget of €900, what should I prioritize upgrading to get better performance?

Focus on the GPU first. It's the main bottleneck in your setup. With your €900 budget, go for a powerful GPU like the RX 7800 XT or RTX 4070, and you can later upgrade to a Ryzen 5600 or 5700X without much hassle. Your PSU can handle these upgrades, and your 16GB of RAM is still fine for now. In the future, you could think about bumping that up to 32GB if you feel the need.
I would suggest you upgrade your CPU and GPU. Jumping from a Ryzen 3600X to either a 5600 or 5700X would be a nice boost, and for the graphics, consider moving to an RX 7800 XT or an RTX 4070. Your RX 5500XT is definitely holding you back right now! Your 16GB of RAM is still good, and your power supply is sufficient.
Thanks for your input! So if I got the new GPU, that should really help with Full HD gaming, right?
Absolutely! Those upgrades will make your games run much smoother at higher settings.

Thanks for your suggestions! I really appreciate it.
