Best Upgrade Options for My Old Ryzen 5 PC?

Hey everyone! I built my PC about 8 years ago and I'm looking to upgrade it. Here are my current specs: Ryzen 5 1400, GTX 1050Ti, ASRock AB350M Pro4 motherboard, 1TB M2 SSD, 2x16GB RAM at 2400Mhz, and an EVGA 550G3 PSU. My main goal is to play Battlefield 6 at 1080p with a reasonable frame rate—right now I'm stuck at around 15fps, which is pretty awful for gaming! I suspect my GPU is the main bottleneck, so I'm considering upgrading to an RTX 2060, 2060 Super, or 2070. Do you think I should also upgrade my CPU? Will my new GPU fit in the same PCIe slot? Just trying to get the most bang for my buck while keeping wattage, size, and compatibility in mind. I'm located in the UK and I'm open to looking at second-hand options. Thanks for any advice!

How much are you willing to spend? You could go for a Ryzen 5600X or 5700X paired with an RX 6900 XT for a massive upgrade! If you're looking for something cheaper, consider a Ryzen 3600 with a used RX 6600XT or 6700XT, which might cost you around £250-300.

Not sure about BF6, but I have that combo (5600X paired with RX 6900 XT 16GB) and it runs great on 2018's God of War at Ultra settings with over 100 FPS!
