I'm looking to upgrade my PC and need some guidance. Here are my current specs: I have an AMD Ryzen 3 3200G CPU with Radeon Vega Graphics, an A320M-A-PRO micro ATX motherboard, 16GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM, a Crucial T500 1TB SSD, a single fan 4GB GTX 1050Ti GPU, and a Corsair CX500 power supply. I usually game on a 100Hz MSI monitor. I'm new to building PCs, so I need to make sure the parts I choose work well together. I have a budget of $300 to improve my setup, mainly to enhance my play in CS2.

If you update the BIOS on your motherboard to version 7C51v194 (beta), you could install a 5800XT. Since CS2 is CPU-bound, this upgrade would yield the biggest performance improvement, and it's likely within your budget if you're in the USA. After that, keep an eye out for a used GPU and power supply as possible future upgrades.
You should consider going for a 9060XT 8GB; it's a great upgrade and should really help out with CS2. Additionally, upgrading the CPU could also benefit your performance significantly.
I've heard some friends say my motherboard might need an upgrade if I change any other parts. Is that true?
You might need a better PSU for that GPU, just keep that in mind!

Do you really think a new GPU will improve my frame rates? Right now, I get around 70-100 FPS in CS2, but it dips sometimes. Would the 9060XT fix that? And can my motherboard handle that new GPU?
