I'm looking to upgrade my gaming rig, which has a Ryzen 5 5600, Palit 1070 JetStream, 32 GB of RAM, a Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2 motherboard, and a 650W PSU. I have a budget of $550 for these upgrades. My goal is to maximize the performance uplift for my own PC while also considering what parts I can use to enhance my girlfriend's setup, which currently has an i3-6100, RX 580, 8GB RAM, an MSI H110M PRO-VD motherboard, and a 500W PSU. Ideally, I'd like her to be able to play Valorant at least at 100 fps with any upgrades we make, especially with any leftover parts from my build.

Considering your options, you should look at something like the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB. It would give you a significant performance boost. However, just remember that upgrading beyond that might push you over your budget, so you’ll need to weigh your options carefully.
If you're aiming for the biggest performance boost for your own rig, I’d recommend investing your full budget in a new GPU. The Palit 1070 you currently have could be moved to your girlfriend's setup, giving her a nice upgrade, especially since she's mostly playing Valorant and doesn't need anything too high-end. Just keep in mind that with a new GPU, you might get limited performance if you don’t upgrade your CPU as well; the Ryzen 5 5600 should handle it pretty well though!
I mainly want to make my setup better first, but I'll also see what I can do for her with any spare parts.
Wouldn’t a high-end GPU bottleneck with just the Ryzen 5 5600?
