Best Way to Protect My Gaming Setup in a Cold Garage?

I'm setting up my gaming PC and Xbox in my garage, which is heated, but there are times when it isn't. Winters can get pretty cold, and I'm looking for advice on how to control condensation and temperature for my setup. I want to keep it safe without spending too much. Any suggestions?

You probably won’t see condensation on your setup unless it gets really cold—like, ice-cold! Both PCs and consoles generate heat, so they usually won’t get cold enough to cause that. Just make sure there aren’t any cold spots above them (like uninsulated vents) dripping moisture. If you really want to keep it in the garage, consider a sealed box to protect your gear, but that can get pricey. You might rethink whether it’s worth it to keep everything outside during winter.

What if I put a small space heater near my setup and made sure to heat the garage whenever I use it? Would that work?

Honestly, just bring your PC and Xbox inside when the garage isn't heated. It’s the easiest way to avoid any issues with condensation or cold damage. Just a simple solution that saves you a lot of potential headaches.
