I want to stress test my new RAM before applying the EXPO profile to see how it performs at stock settings. I have a Patriot Viper Venom 32GB kit (2 x 16GB) rated at 6000MHz CL30, but it isn't listed on my motherboard's QVL. I'm currently running it at 4800MHz CL40 with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and a Gigabyte B850 Eagle WIFI6E motherboard. Can anyone recommend free programs to test the stability of my RAM without taking hours? I've heard of Memtest86, AIDA64, and Karhu, but I'm unsure which one would be best for my situation. Thanks!

You should definitely give Testmem5 a try! It's pretty popular and straightforward. Just keep in mind that QVL lists aren't comprehensive, so don’t stress too much about that. Manufacturers can't test every single RAM kit with all motherboards out there.

Is Testmem5 reliable with DDR5 though? I’ve heard it's more tuned for DDR4.
