I'm currently using the Bitwarden app on my phone and accessing it through a web browser on Windows. Now that I'm transitioning to Linux Mint, I see an option for the Bitwarden app in the Software Manager. Are there any real benefits to using the app compared to just accessing Bitwarden through the web browser?

For me, it’s pretty similar. I use Fedora and Linux Mint, and Bitwarden works flawlessly in every browser. Just keep in mind that using the web version means you have to keep that tab open while the app allows you to choose which browser to launch links from.
I actually prefer using the app on Linux alongside the browser extension since I can easily log into applications that don't run in a browser, like Steam or Discord. It's just more convenient for me!
The app might have some OS integration features, like handling SSH keys, but I haven’t explored that much. It sounds appealing, but I found the import process for SSH keys quite cumbersome.
I've never really seen a need for the Bitwarden app since the browser extension covers all the basics. I’ve been good just using that without any troubles.
Honestly, using the Bitwarden app and the web version feels pretty much the same to me. I mainly use the browser extension on my desktop anyway, so the difference is pretty negligible for my needs.
