I've been having issues since a Windows Update on January 13. After shutting down my Windows 11 computer for the update, I noticed black borders about half an inch on the top and sides of both my monitors when I turned it back on. The bottom of the screen is fine. I've had my setup with no issues for over a year, and I'm absolutely sure these aren't bezels. I've tried a bunch of fixes including updating my NVIDIA driver, restoring to a previous point, adjusting settings in the NVIDIA control panel, restarting Windows Explorer, and even resetting my monitor to factory settings. I'm at my wits' end and really don't want to reinstall Windows if I can avoid it. My monitors are both set to their native resolution (2560x1440) with the OMEN at 164Hz and the BenQ at 144Hz. Any other suggestions?

You might want to try using DDU, which stands for Display Driver Uninstaller. It completely removes your graphics drivers, so you can do a clean reinstall. Sometimes, remnants of the old drivers can mess things up. Just make sure to download the latest NVIDIA drivers from their website afterwards!

Thanks for the tip! Is DDU easy to use? I tried disabling my driver and enabling it again, but it didn’t help. Would it be better to use the NVIDIA app or the website for the new drivers?
