I recently made the switch to Bazzite OS on my PC, and now I'm facing a strange problem. Every time I turn off my computer and then turn it back on, I only get a black screen. The odd part is that when I press the power button to turn it off and then back on again, it shows my motherboard logo, which is Asus, and under that, it says Bazzite.
Here's a workaround I discovered: if I flip the power switch on the PSU off and then back on, I can access the BIOS. When I do this, I don't have to change any settings; I just exit BIOS, and everything boots up fine. I'm confused about what's causing this issue. Can anyone help me figure it out?

It sounds like you might be dealing with a fast boot setting that's causing the issue. Make sure to check your BIOS settings and disable any fast boot options if they’re enabled. That sometimes messes with Linux OS drivers, and could be the culprit for your black screen when starting up.
When you mention flipping the PSU switch, it's important to know if you do it once or more. Flipping it off and back on cuts power completely, so that might reset what’s causing the black screen. Have you noticed if hitting it once or twice changes anything?
Yeah, I flip it off and then back on again. That seems to do the trick for me.
If you're booting straight into Linux and not using Windows at all, it definitely sounds like something’s up with the way Bazzite interacts with your system on startup. If you continue having problems, consider checking for updates or reinstallation to see if that resolves any lingering configuration issues.

That's a great point! I had a similar issue before, and turning off fast boot in BIOS really helped me.
