I recently built a new PC with a Gigabyte B650 motherboard, RX 9060XT 16GB graphics card, Ryzen 7 7700X processor, 32GB CL36 RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. However, after exiting the BIOS, I encounter a black screen. This black screen isn't completely dark; it seems like the system is trying to do something. I've tried various troubleshooting methods, including resetting the CMOS and using integrated graphics, but nothing seems to work. I can't even get to the Windows installation because it's stuck in an endless loop of needing to reset the CMOS to access the BIOS again. I do have a USB drive with the Media Creation Tool already downloaded. Can anyone help me out?

It sounds like a boot order issue! Make sure in the BIOS settings that your SSD is set as the first boot device and your USB is second. The USB needs to be plugged in before you power on the PC. If your USB only contains the Media Creation Tool and nothing else, it won't work. You need to actually run the tool from another computer to create a bootable USB that contains Windows installation files.
Thanks for clarifying! I thought simply copying the tool would be enough. So I need to run the Media Creation Tool to properly create the bootable USB? That makes more sense!
