Boot Device Not Found Error on HP Pavilion Laptop

I recently encountered a "Boot Device Not Found" error on my HP Pavilion 14-dv1001TU laptop. After using it, I closed the lid expecting it to hibernate, but when I opened it half an hour later, I was greeted with this error message. Initially, it takes about 2-4 minutes of a black screen before showing the error. I've already tried the following troubleshooting steps: 1) removing and reattaching the SSD after cleaning it, and 2) resetting the BIOS to default settings. Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

Since you've reset the BIOS, it could complicate things a bit. Check your BIOS settings and look at the storage section: if your SSD appears there, Windows might be corrupted, which would require a reinstall. If it's not showing, then the M.2 drive could be dead. Just a heads up, if there was a recent write to the drive during hibernation, this might have pushed it over the edge. Also, if you're using a drive impacted by the Phison controller issue, try completely powering off the laptop (remove power and hold the power button for 30 seconds) then turning it back on—it could help with recovery.

This error usually means that the system is unable to locate a bootable drive. Have you recently installed any updates, like the Intel Management Engine? Sometimes updates can affect the boot process. Knowing whether an update occurred could help narrow down the issue.
