I'm looking to put together a new PC using the 7800X3D along with either a 5070 or Super GPU. I plan to use 2 sticks of RAM, and I'll have 2 M.2 drives and 4 SATA drives in the mix. I don't have any plans to overclock and will be using an Arctic Liquid Freezer III 240 for cooling. I'm aiming for a budget-friendly motherboard that's still decent. Right now, I'm considering the ASUS Prime B650M-K because it has 8+2+1 VRMs, unlike the B650M-R which only has 6+2+1 VRMs. I'm also looking at Gigabyte's S2H and DS3H options, but they both have the same 6+2+1 VRMs. I'm open to suggestions for budget ASUS, Gigabyte, and ASRock boards but would prefer to avoid MSI unless there's a really good value option.

Check out this German site that has great filtering options for motherboards: https://geizhals.de/?cat=mainboards&xf=2833_AMD%20AM5~2894_ab%204~3086_ab%202~4714_ab%208&fcols=4711&sort=p&promode=true.
Remember, VRM phase count doesn't mean much if the heatsink is poor. Consider spending a little more to get a better quality board that stays cooler and lasts longer. Here's a solid option: MSI PRO B650M-A WiFi. You can find it here: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/cRQcCJ/msi-pro-b650m-a-wifi-micro-atx-am5-motherboard-pro-b650m-a-wifi.
I'd suggest going with the ASUS Prime B650M-K or the ASRock B650M HDV/M.2. Both offer good VRM quality and reliability for their price. The Gigabyte DS3H isn't bad either, but keep an eye out for deals. Just steer clear of the Gigabyte B650M S2H since it has some lackluster features. If you spot an MSI B650M Gaming Plus WiFi on sale, it could be worth it since it has decent specs like 6+2+1 VRMs and WiFi 6E, but I'd stick to your preferred brands unless you find a great deal.
Definitely avoid ASRock motherboards; I've heard they can fry the X3D CPUs, which is a serious concern.

That’s awesome, thanks for sharing!
