I'm putting together a PC that needs to deliver 4K gaming at 120fps, plus handle productivity tasks like graphics work, video rendering, streaming, and 3D modeling. I've locked in a few components but need advice on several others.
For the GPU, I've settled on either the RTX 5090 from Asus ROG or MSI SUPRIM. I'm going with an AMD R9 9950X3D for the CPU. However, I'm unsure about the CPU cooler; I want something effective but not a liquid cooler.
When it comes to RAM, I'm looking for 2x32GB DDR5, but I need guidance on speeds and brands—6000mhz CL30, 6400mhz CL32, or 6800mhz CL34. I prefer options without RGB lighting. For storage, I'm aiming for 4TB and can't decide between a single 4TB drive or two 2TB ones; I'm considering the WD Black SN850X or Samsung 990 Pro.
I'm also lost on the motherboard and would appreciate recommendations. For the PSU, I think a 1000W Platinum unit would suffice, but again, I need brand suggestions. Lastly, I'm looking for a case that fits a large GPU and provides good airflow, preferably a mid-tower model with tempered glass, but nothing too flashy.
